Monday Nov 22

I am keeping this short and sweet because I have been sick with a stomach bug for the last 24+ hours. today it is brown rice and water for me, maybe some applesauce and yogurt if I think I can handle it.

I wish I could say I lost 5 lbs this week for all my hard work but I think it is dehydration and sickness so I don't think it counts. I hope to have a more accurate number next week.

I hope to stay up for tonights mv tv, it sounds like another great night. I would love to see Billy Blanks Jr.

Thank you Subway for supporting mv and for the Commit 2 Fit challenge program. It has really inspired me to keep moving forward in my journey to being healthier and fit. My goal is to do a bike race in the spring. This week (before I got sick) I spent over 150 minutes working toward my goal and sweating it out. :) I hope next week will be even better if I can get my energy back.

Congrats to Heather for being picked as the mv sista of the week again. You are totally deserving and such an inspiring person.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to hear about the stomach bug! Those are the WORST kinds, in my opinion. I would rather cough and hack than spew, but that's just me! :-)

Congratulations on the weight loss, and I'm sure some of that is from the hard work that you've been doing, because you have been doing awesome! Keep taking care of yourself and don't try to do too much - exactly the same thing you tell me! LOL

I hope you get better really quickly and have a great week!

I had a stomach bug 2 weeks ago and was on the BRAT diet for that. Right after was my 3.5 beer drunken silliness. I don't recommend beer as your first post-bug meal unless there is a lot of dancing ;)

Oh...stomach bugs are the worst! I'm so sorry you had to live through that. As I type this, my body is on the fence on whether it's going to give in to the stomach germs that are everywhere it seems. I hope you're feeling back to normal soon!
